La griglia è alimentata con legno di faggio e castagno. In cucina si preparano piatti locali e stagionali con un tocco moderno.

Outstanding food and service.
The restaurant was packed. The waitress who served us was very friendly and competent. The food and drinks arrived within a jiffy. The food quality was amazing. The ambiance was also fantastic with possibilities to sit outside under some grape vines. Just beware of the mosquitoes in the evening.

Our favorite in Ascona
Was recommended to us by a Swiss friend. The dressing on the salad was heavenly. It was porchini mushroom season, so there were several specials with this feature. The owner and chef has a wood fire oven where you can see him prepare and cook, as well as converse. The steaks are marvelous, as is the pasta, risotto, and everything else. We ate there on a Sunday night, and planned to return on Monday night because we enjoyed it so much, but it is closed on Monday.
